Code for installation of combustible gas detection system
Release time:2023-02-08   Number:553
A. The combustible gas controller shall be installed in the instrument room and other non-explosion-proof places. It is strictly prohibited to install it in explosion-proof places.
B. The combustible gas controller shall be firmly fixed to avoid vibration, dust and water regardless of the installation method. The environment shall meet the requirements of the instrument manual.
C. The combustible gas controller should use relatively clean power supply to avoid using the same power supply as large electrical equipment.
D. The combustible gas controller shall be grounded on the shell or the ground wire of the power plug.
E. The shell of combustible gas controller shall not be damaged, otherwise the shielding effect will be affected.

Installation specification of combustible gas detection probe:

A. The combustible gas detection probe shall be located within a radius of 1 meter around the valve, pipe interface, air outlet or the place prone to leakage, as close as possible, without affecting the operation of other equipment, and at the same time avoid high temperature and high humidity environment as far as possible.
B. When the combustible gas detection probe is used for large-area gas detection, it can be arranged with a probe of 10-12 square meters, which can also achieve the detection and alarm effect.
C. Combustible gas detection probe can be installed by ceiling hoisting, wall mounting or pipe holding. It should be ensured that the installation is firm and reliable, and it should be convenient for maintenance and calibration.
D. Installation height of combustible gas detection probe: when detecting hydrogen, natural gas, city gas and other gases with specific gravity less than air, it shall be installed about 1 meter from the roof; When detecting liquefied petroleum gas and other gases with a specific gravity greater than air, it shall be installed about 1.5~2 meters from the ground.
E. The wiring of combustible gas detection probe shall be three-core shielded cable, with a single wire diameter greater than 1 mm2. The shielding layer must be grounded during wiring.
F. The field wiring of the combustible gas detection probe shall be through the pipe, the pipe used shall meet the fire protection requirements, and the pipe shall be connected with the probe to meet the fire protection requirements.
G. When installing the combustible gas detection probe, the sensor shall be fixed downward.
H. The combustible gas detection probe shall be wired in the case of power failure, and powered on after confirming that the wiring is correct; The probe shall be opened for commissioning when it is confirmed that there is no combustible gas leakage on site
I. The combustible gas detection probe shall be calibrated at least once a year to ensure the detection accuracy.
