How to use the gas detector II
Release time:2023-02-08   Number:513
The gas detector is a kind of instrument and instrument for gas leakage concentration detection, which mainly includes: portable gas detector, hand-held gas detector, fixed gas detector, online gas detector, etc. It is mainly to make full use of the gas sensor to detect the type of gas in the environment. The gas sensor is used to detect the composition and content of the gas.
1、 During use
① When using the portable gas detector, it should be worn as close as possible to the mouth and nose, such as the front neckline of clothes, coat pocket, etc. It is strictly prohibited to put the alarm in the pocket and other parts that are difficult to see, which directly affect the detection data.
② Collision shall be avoided as much as possible during use, which may lead to abnormal detection data.
③ The gas detector sensor and other components are precision components. Do not open the cover of the adjusted instrument and equipment at will. Pay attention to water and impurities during use to prevent data abnormalities.
④ In case of abnormal conditions such as continuous flashing of indicator light, sudden absence of data display on the display screen, gas obviously exceeding the standard area, data inaction, large gap, etc., the operation should be stopped in time, and the problem should be observed in the fresh air area and eliminated in time. Otherwise, it is forbidden to continue using.
⑤ The national and company regulations shall be implemented when the gas detection exceeds the standard:
Requirements for concentration value and operation time of gas field operation (excluding confined space):
When the concentration of CO in the air is 24ppm, normal operation can be carried out;
When the concentration of CO in the air is 40ppm, it can work for 1 hour;
When the concentration of CO in the air is 80 ppm, it can work for half an hour;
When the concentration of CO in the air is 160ppm, it is only allowed to work for 15-20 minutes, and the interval between each work is 2 hours.
Oxygen operation: the oxygen content in the working area shall not be less than 19.5%, the oxygen content in the confined space shall generally be 19.5%~21%, and the oxygen content in the oxygen-enriched environment shall not be more than 23.5%.
Hydrogen sulfide operation: when the concentration of hydrogen sulfide is lower than 40ppm, the filtered gas mask can be worn for operation, and the applicable substances shall be marked on the surface layer of the gas filter tank;
When working in areas where the concentration of hydrogen sulfide is greater than 40ppm or the concentration is unknown or the concentration of sulfur dioxide is higher than 2ppm, the positive pressure air respirator should be used;
It is strictly prohibited for all people to enter the area that may contain hydrogen sulfide gas without wearing appropriate protective equipment, and it is prohibited to remove the anti-poison equipment in the toxic area.
⑥ In case of dizziness, tinnitus, dizziness, nausea and other conditions during the operation, the operation should be stopped in time and evacuated to the fresh air area (pay attention to the air flow direction and select the upper air outlet). If the situation is serious, the emergency response should be started in time to carry out self-rescue and other rescue.
