2. Pay attention to the life of each sensor
All kinds of gas detectors have a certain service life, that is, service life. Generally speaking, LEL sensors in portable devices have a long service life, which can be used for about 3 years. The life of the photoionization detector is more than 4 years. The life of the electrochemical specific gas sensor is relatively short, usually about 1 to 2 years. The oxygen sensor has the shortest service life. About a year. If it is not used for a long time, it can be sealed in a low temperature environment and extend a certain service life. The fixed device is relatively large and the sensor has a longer service life. Therefore, detect the sensor at any time and place, try to use it within the time limit of the sensor, and replace it immediately in case of failure.
3. Pay attention to the concentration measurement range of VOC detector
All kinds of toxic and harmful gas detectors have a stable inspection range. It can only be guaranteed if the measurement is completed within that measurement range. Carry out the measurement correctly. If the measurement is carried out outside the measurement range for a long time, it will cause permanent damage to the sensor.
4. Pay attention to repeated calibration and inspection
The toxic and harmful gas detector is the same as other analytical and testing instruments, and is also measured by the relative method. The gas measuring instrument with zero gas and standard concentration shall be used first, and the standard curve shall be stored in the instrument for measurement. During the measurement, the instrument compares the electrical signal caused by the measurement of atmospheric gas concentration with the electrical signal of standard concentration, and calculates the accurate gas concentration value.
