There is no doubt that the combustible gas detector is a kind of detector that can be widely used in places such as emitting combustible gas and combustible steam. When the concentration of combustible gas in the detected area reaches the alarm preset value, the detector will immediately send out sound and light alarm signals to indicate that safety measures should be taken immediately to prevent explosion and fire accidents, and thus ensure fire safety. However, it is still necessary to pay more attention to the application of the combustible gas detector. It is strictly required to operate according to the instructions and carry out scientific maintenance in daily life. So what should we pay attention to when maintaining the portable gas detector?
1. Pay attention to mis-check caused by too long charging time
In daily life, try to reduce the one-time charging time too long. When charging, the tester should be charged when it is turned off. Otherwise, the charging time can be reduced and the service life of the tester can be extended. Since the sensor of the detector may be affected by the charger if it is charged when it is turned on, resulting in sudden alarm or wrong detection of gas.
2. Keep the tester dry
In general, products including those with high degree of protection should pay attention to prevent contact with water. Maintaining the dryness of the detector is an important step affecting the detector. It is required that the application personnel must use dry towels when wiping to ensure that there is no moisture or water vapor in the instrument. The circuit damage is reasonably and effectively prevented.
3. Prevent contact with water
In daily life, many instrument operators will use wet towels to wipe the outer shell of the instrument. This is all due to the fact that maintenance of the detector in violation of regulations will affect its service life. As soon as water vapor enters the detector, it will cause damage to the circuit board and affect the accuracy of the detector, the same should be prevented from contacting corrosive substances.
4. Prevent collision and falling
Many operators carry it with them when testing under special working conditions, but they do not know that they should select the location and then carry out the test. It must be said that the detector should be kept in a safe position to prevent falling and impact. Although the detector can resist external forces, if it is often hit and fall, it will still cause the sensitivity of the detector to decline and affect its service life.
5. Pay attention to regular charging
Sometimes, when the tester is not used, it should be limited to one side, which not only does not play a protective role, but also affects its service life. In limited circumstances, it should also be charged once every 2-3 months to protect the normal application of the battery.
