What is a portable gas detector

Sampling principle of portable gas detector

Portable gas detector can be divided into diffusion type and pump type according to its sampling principle.
Diffusion type: the probe is placed in the dangerous area of the gas to be detected, and the gas to be detected in the area is diffused into the probe, while the alarm is placed in the monitoring room to make prompt and alarm. The change of the measured gas concentration can only be realized through the diffusion film, and the response time is slightly longer.
Pump suction type: the gas pump to be measured is sucked into the detection probe, and the suction pump is set together with the gas built-in detector, which is to set the detector at the dangerous position of the gas to be measured, so as to detect the implementation prompt and alarm function. The change of the concentration of the measured gas in the air of the measured area quickly responds to the sensor of the aspirating detector, which shows that the data tracks the rapid change of the concentration, that is, the response time is short.
