It should be pointed out that, unlike hypochlorite disinfectants, the sterilization ability of ozone will not be affected by the change of pH value and ammonia. Its sterilization ability is 600-3000 times greater than chlorine. Its sterilization and disinfection functions are basically instantaneous. When the ozone concentration in water is 0.3-2mg/L, the bacteria can die within 0.5-1 minutes. The dosage of ozone water required to achieve the same sterilization effect (such as killing rate of Escherichia coli up to 99%) is only 0.0048% of chlorine.
